With a new owner looking to revive the Ooh La La experience, a rebrand and design overhaul began. The goal was to highlight the amazing baked goods, and create a distinct footprint in the city.
We began with creating a simplified, flexible logo that lets the cupcakes and cakes become the hero. Bright magenta as the primary colour adds vibrancy and excitement, while providing a distinct colour that Ooh La La can become synonymous with.
A photoshoot with Jo-Ann Richards at Works Photography created a full catalogue of the signature cupcakes and cakes to be used online, and social media notifications.
In order to increase sales to support walk-in traffic, we built an online orders website through Squarespace. A simplified design was tailored to showcase the amazing photos. Client-access allows them to update the website with constantly changing new creations and promos.
Finally, internal and external signage, business cards, flyers, product sheets and decals were created to complete the branding. Most of these pieces were created in Canva, allowing the client to constantly update materials.
