Identity Design

I was fortunate enough to be able to work with my children’s elementary school, and update their current branding. Previous work was amateurish and resonated closer to a daycare factuality. The new school branding required a fresh look – one that creates excitement for the kids, and pride within the faculty.

A motion was put forth to ascertain what the school “spirit” animal could be. The animal would share the same characteristics and values of the school and its students. It would also provide a mascot to be used on sports uniforms, and school swag.

Using guidance from Indigenous cultures, and focusing on local wildlife synonymous with the nearby Panama Flats.
